Friday evening, February 28, British blues guitarist Danny Bryant was on stage at Poppodium Bibelot in Dordrecht.
A beautiful location with various rooms, where the Power Stage was the setting for an atmospheric and captivating blues experience this evening. With around 300 visitors in the room, who were first warmed up by support act The Bane Grams, the tone was set for a beautiful musical evening.
Danny Bryant and his band played a set of almost two hours, filled with highlights.
Classics such as Rescue Me, Gun Town, Prisoner Of The Blues and Heartbreaker were played, as well as a beautiful rendition of Bob Dylan’s Girl From The North Country.
The absolute crowd favorite Painkiller provided a goosebump moment, as always with the beautiful subdued introduction by Jamie Pipe on the keys.
A special moment was the guest appearance of guitarist Marco van de Graaf, who shone with Danny during As The Years Go Passing By.
Two guitarists, one stage, and a magical performance – a highlight of the evening.
Danny was in top form: he was joking, visibly enjoying himself and playing as only he can – with passion, fire and craftsmanship.
His band was solid as a rock and together they put on a show that thrilled the audience and left them wanting more.
It is and remains a pleasure to see Danny Bryant live!
